Changelog:
v0.3.5 - 2025-06-04
3.5, for those who weren't following very closely, is something of a QoL update for myself that also attempts to fix some of the longer running issues. Such as the gallery/scene replays and character page.
It's not required for you to download and play right now. For anyone not on Steam, I'd recommend you probably just wait for Episode 4 as this will be apart of that as well. But it's here for anyone who's either just joining/download or wants to do it anyways. Here's the changelog for 3.5:
- Finished (mostly) the character menu. Likes/Interests to be added as you get closer to LIs.
- Updated Music Room for faster attribution (for S01E03 and following, Episodes 1+2 will come later).
- CG gallery and Animation/Scene Replays should work fully now (play through Episode 3.5)
- Fixed Stats screen.
- Fixed exit methods when returning from Main Menu and Quit screens.
- Fixed some consistency issues, others remain and will addressed.
The beef of this update was the character menu, obviously. Likes have been left blank as I felt it'd be better to add as the player gets closer. They won't have much of a role, but may play a role in choices later on. Nothing integral, though.
The music room is more for me than it is the players, though it does offer some ease of use in that the buttons are a bit clearer. The reason for the change in method is due to the style of the previous format. First I had to make an idle and hover imagebutton, typing the song title and centering the album/song cover, saving each, and so forth. Which is easy enough for a few songs, but when you're using 50+ songs per update, it's gets real tedious real fast. This way, I change just type in the artist and song title and save. Previous updates will get the same treatment, but not a priority.
The gallery/scene replay has been a pain. Should be working fine now. Triple checked both the Steam version and Patreon version and didn't get any tracebacks. Also fixed Emily's CG traceback, even if there's nothing in it currently.
Traceback when going into the stats screen should be fixed. The latter two changes are probably not very noticeable to anyone who wasn't bothered by them in first place, but were still addressed regardless.
Episode 4 will now start going full steam (heh) into development now that this is done. Thanks again for the patience and putting up with my stupid mistakes.
v0.3 - 2025-01-27
- 2,160-ish Renders
- 22 Animations, SFW and NSFW
- Fixed Achievement + Gallery bugs (hopefully)
- Implemented Superstar Traits
- Heavy spell/grammar checking. Episode 1+2 still need a pass.
- Other general updates (glossary, etc.)
-Tweaked some little issues
v0.2 Bugfix - 2024-05-14
- (Hopefully) Fixed locale settings for Linux/Older Windows.
- Added a modal to preferences screen to avoid starting game accidentally
- Fixed Typeface/Outline submenu bug that was causing a semi-freeze if entered via the main menu
- Finally fixed the locale issue for Linux and Windows 7/8/8.1 users. Thanks to LoafyLemon and shark_inna_hat for the help.
- Starting a deep editing/spell checking. DuckDairyDip covered a lot of Episode 1 for me, so thanks. PiercedFreak will be looking it over what's currently available, as well. Among others, potentially. Of course, EchoFoxtrot is always a lot of help in that way.
v0.2
The was a more story-heavy update as the final few central characters are introduced. Sex will likely slow down a touch with any of the main characters over the next couple updates. However, I'll be introducing something a Tinder-esque app into the VN where MC can have one night stands with random girls, trans women, or whatever your flavor may suit (make sure you leave the LGBTQ+ switch on, if you're into that.). These will likely be one-off characters, maybe another appearance at some point barring a riot from players over one of them.
The next couple updates will focus on getting to know the girls, setting up dates, and stuff of that sort. As the season looms closer, MC gets a chance to hit the turf running thanks to a certain someone asking for a favor. I won't be spoiling anything, though.
For those who it isn't clear for: If you're coming from S01E01, you will have to restart.
Changelog for S01E02:
820ish new renders, depending on choices
19 animations, SFW and NSFW.
Added a gallery with for character renders, lewd scenes, and lewd animations, and eventually highlights. Still a bit of a WIP, but it should be functional.
UI makeover/update. Nearly done, but needs a few touchups. Namely optimizations of some buttons, as they're causing a bit of a lag.
Glossary for American Football terms, there's clickable words that pull up the definition for it, along with the full gallery up in the top left of the screen at any point you need it. Feel free to toss words out you might not understand and I'll be sure to add them eventually!
Menu for stats, prep for superstar traits. Also added a space for money in the game menu, with animated icons for depositing and withdrawing said money.
Added a brightness slider which is a bit funky still, but still functional from what I can tell. (Credit to crabsinthekitchen, Stolen Rose, and Pickerlewd), Streamer/SFW mode, an LGBT toggle, along with one for optional letterboxing (artificial widescreen).
Added a tutorial for UI that explains all of the little niche stuff.
Not really a 'update', but something to be noted:
Removed Steam-violating content (in the writing, not the visuals).
Changes since the previous tier releases:
Fixed Main Menu preference screen lock bug
Adjusted some dialogue in a certain scene
Added changelog information into the game.
Fixed label bugfix for choice leading to traceback
As I've previously mentioned, this was a fairly framework-heavy update alongside it being a bit more story-driven. Part of the reason it's a bit smaller than I'd like, along with just being busier than I've expected. Thankfully, a lot of what was done in this update will make doing certain tasks that take a while a bit quicker (like adding music + music attribution, gallery additions, etc.).
Anyways, here are the links. Feel more than free to point out typos, bugs, errors, and anything you come across that doesn't seem normal. There's likely going to be a couple kinks with such a large UI overhaul that I probably missed some. And everyone knows the deal with typos. Pretty easy to go textblind sometimes.
One last thing, keep an eye on the about page. I've added an image that'll be updated daily (or every other day) with where the current progress is. We're currently making pretty good headway for Episode 3 at nearly 200 renders. Once the public release is out, I'll be adding and pinning the image on a post for the main feed for people to more easily see.
That's all for now. I hope you guys enjoy Episode 2. Sorry again for the delay (won't go into why), but expect Episode 3 to be out significantly faster! :)
v0.1 Bugfix
- Fixed SFX/Looping Ambience Volume (hopefully.)
- Politically Correct Patch added (linked below)
- Fixed Text Properties
- Lowered frequency of wolf transition
- Added Tier Pages for supporters.
v0.1
Initial Release
Developer Notes:
Ryan Spencer, the protagonist:
First and foremost, yes, you can change the protagonist's first name. Seeing as names are often on the back(s) of jerseys, offering the ability to change the last name would've made that a bit screwy.
As you'll see in some of the later renders, the protagonist has sleeves (tattoos). This is explained in the story at a later point when he meets a certain LI. The protagonist, given the theme of the story, is obviously going to be athletic. Not necessarily a "Chad", but athletic. Maybe with a bit too much confidence in his ability, but that depends on your choices. ;)
Now, onto the love interests (or future harem.)
Diana is a "childhood friend" and "roommate" of the protagonist from the beginning. From the same neighborhood he grew up in, to the present day after he's gotten out. Despite her attractiveness, she's quite withdrawn from socialization, tends to keep to herself more than not.
Eisley (i-lee) Sosa is the result of an elementary school crush on MC that never materialized into anything. Clingy, perhaps slightly possessive toward MC, hyper-athletic, the living embodiment of the Energizer Bunny. Still only has eyes for MC. Well-liked by nearly anyone, sociable, never seems to be sad.
Alaina Underwood, otherwise known as "Coach's Daughter". Despite the pigment of her hair, she's in her final year of Pre-Med on her way to an MD after having graduated two years ahead of her own class.
Kara (Car-ahh) Adams is just as new to Texas as the MC is after getting a job at a nearby private middle school, only having arrived days before himself.
You know what they say about people with two first names, right? Kelsey Taylor, better known as Swallow (and not for what you're thinking), does what she wants when she wants to and go wherever she wants when she wants. A problem child of sorts, but also responsible enough to (barely) pass her classes.
Best friend of Kelsey, Nicole Hardman (no relation). Both perpetually tired and perpetually stoned, she gets away with sleeping through all of her classes due to her somehow perfect GPA. While being what is essentially the polar opposite of Kelsey, they are practically inseparable. With one comes the other. In a multitude of ways.
Hazel Clarke is just your average, run-of-the-mill student with a hidden passion for fashion design. The type of person that just sticks to themselves and the type of person the MC is supposed to walked past without ever noticing her. Which would've been the case had he not sat right next to her.
Lydia is one of the way-too-serious type of characters. Learning, Education, and a career post-University are all that matters to her. But she has to struggle every step of the way.
Noemi is basically your Asian stereotype. Bookworm, top grades, already has a post-University job lined up despite being in her freshman year. But is that what she wants, or is that what her parents want?
Parker, more or less, is the campus darling. Captain of the cheer team, voluntary tutor for athletes, runs a group for student mental health, spends her weekends volunteering at shelters, and so forth. The goody-two-shoes type, if you will.
Phoebe, or better known as "Fame", exploded into popularity after winning the 15th season of Tournament of Ink. She also happens to be the stepsister of Wolves quarterback, Blaine Fitzgerald. But it turns out MC and Fame have a more obscure connection than her own stepbrother.
Non-Love Interest/Important Side Characters/Friends:
Laura is the woman who took in and basically raised the MC, would be hard to say any more without giving spoilers at the same time :/, so I'll just have to keep you wondering for a while on that.
Deshaun and MC met in the YFL, later going to the same junior high and high school. Been friends ever since. Brawls and all.
Blaine isn't all too dissimilar to the MC. A one-track mind for football. Despite coming from old money, he's never accepted the proposed offers from top schools that came based only on his last name before he'd even played a snap in high school. That 1st round projection was the fruition of the work he'd put in the last two seasons. Quiet, confrontational, but the face of Texas A&N.
A 4-Star recruit out of Florida's LMG Academy. A shocking twist to the many who expected the star running back to commit to Alabama.
A wide receiver familiar with the MC, already being labeled as the second coming of L.K. Metcaph going into his sophmore year at Texas A&N.
Supposedly wanted to attend his father's alma mater, Red Mountain State, but the school had since been shut down. Came as a walk-on to Texas A&N and shocked the many who had never heard the name Castle.
(IYKYK. Still pissed they canceled it. >_<)
As it stands, the Diana, Laura, Eisley, Deshaun (not Watson), and the MC designs are final as they've already been rendered an extensive amount. But I'm certainly open to opinions and recommendations.
